OCN Retrieval with Least-Cost Routing

Global Net’s OCN Retrieval will return a telephone number’s true Carrier Name based on who is currently providing service. Our process includes a “Least Cost Query” feature, which ensures that each query is destined for the appropriate database using the most economical access method available when the query is launched. This service is not available for direct carrier billing, ie LEC billing.

Disconnect Check

The Disconnect Check service allows you to query Global Net’s gateway application platform to obtain the connectivity status of a telephone number. This solution will also include the current carrier controlling the telephone number. This service is not available for direct carrier billing, ie LEC billing.

Carrier Name and Category (Attach Carrier Name & Carrier Category)

Global Net’s OCN Retrieval will return a telephone number’s true Carrier Name based on who is currently providing service. Carrier Category (Standalone)

With 16 carrier categories currently identified (e.g. wireline, wireless, RBOC, CLEC, etc), Global Net’s Carrier Category allows you to identify which category of service that the carrier provides.

Carrier Name (Standalone)

Carrier Name allows you to query Global Net’s application platform to obtain the name of the carrier controlling the first seven digits of a telephone number.

With Global Net’s BKNA service, numerous databases are searched and transport a customer’s request to our Gateway platform. Upon receiving a valid request, Global Net processes the query and provides the name and address associated with the telephone number to our customer. This allows you to validate the end-user's billing information and avoid lost revenues that can occur with returned billing statements. This service is not available for direct carrier billing, ie LEC billing.
